Welcome to Lawyers for Veterans Claims (LVC)
The mission at LVC is to help veterans and their families obtain the maximum amount of benefits and compensation they are entitled to under the law from the Department of Veterans Affairs.
About the founder, veterans lawyer Judy Donegan:
Judy has been an attorney since 1993 and has practiced both social security and veterans law. She serves as Of Counsel to the Schwartz Law Firm, PC (www.schwartzlawfirmpc.com) where she leads the veterans law group. Today her practice is devoted exclusively to serving veterans. She is accredited to practice before the VA and is admitted to the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims. She has a proven track record of success in both oral and written presentations in her years before the Court. She has helped hundreds of veterans obtain thousands of dollars in compensation and she can help you.
Judy comes from a long line of veterans including one who died of dysentary on Christmas Day in 1862, during the American Civil War, a grandfather who was in the signal corps during World War II, and a father who was a Korean War veteran. Another family member was a career army soldier, retiring as a Master Sergeant after serving in both Korea and Vietnam. He received a number of commendations and honors including the Vietnam Gallantry Cross, the Distinguished Flying Cross and a Bronze Star Medal. Judy has an appreciation not only for the service of her family members but for all of those who have served.
When young, Judy's father worked for the Department of Defense and she lived within sight of the 2nd General Hospital in Landstuhl, Germany where the injured Iraq and Afghanistan soldiers are now taken for treatment. She attended school on both Ramstein Air Force Base and the army base in Kaiserslautern. She knows well the sacrifice made, even during peacetime, by those who serve. She understands that you are on duty 24/7 and must accept duty as it comes. She also knows that you deserve the benefits and compensation you were promised as a result of your service.
Judy is a sustaining member of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates and has access to a vast network of colleagues who share her passion to help those who served.
